3/1/2024 0 Comments Frappe base powder recipeYou can find an image online of the Starbucks ingredient list for the frappe base. So I suggest if you want an exact match is to find a recipe which usually is xanAl gum, sugar, water, citric acid. Starbucks frappe base is not for retail sale. McDonald’s frappe is much easier to duplicate. The Starbucks frappe base does not have this but McDonald’s frappe does. One last thing to keep in mind, the frappe powder mixes you find on the market usually have a milk ingredient. Now that it’s merely 5 dollars a bottle I’m frantic trying to find a duplicate to no avail. I haven’t figured out how to make this version of Starbucks coffee. Another great tip, if your stomach gets upset by this coffee then add 1 tablespoon of baking soda (or teaspoon) and this should help. Starbucks does add their own coffee so I suggest doing this instead of expresso. If you use instant coffee, use 1/4 cup of water instead of 1/3 to make it more condensed. Add more vanilla flavoring by using vanilla powder instead of the syrup bc the syrup can easily make the drink taste too artificial and sweet. Starbucks uses simple syrup instead of vanilla syrup, and they use liquid sugar instead of granulated. Now, their are tons of recipes to make the frappe base, or you can buy this online (quite pricy) but it’s an ingredient that you cannot go without. You need condensed coffee (so instant coffee) or expresso1-2 shots, FRAPPE BASE, milk, vanilla syrup, vanilla powder, sugar, and ice. But I’ve found how to make the Starbucks frappe at the store. I have drank these Frappuccino in a glass bottle for nearly ten years, so after trying this recipe, I nearly vomited. It tastes just like coffee with added milk and overbearing amount of sugar instead of natural flavoring. Your absolutely right! This recipe is not at all like Starbucks. Or if that’ll be too sweet and too “vanilla-y” if that makes sense! Thank you for any suggestions in advance! I’ll be sure to check back daily in hopes that someone has responded! “Fingers crossed” □ Or 3 cups of milk and 1/2 a cup of FV creamer. But has anybody else had this issue, and if so- any tips or ideas on how to tweak the recipe to make it have more vanilla flavor? I was wondering if maybe next time, I could use 3 cups of milk and 1 cup of French vanilla creamer. It’s in my fridge now cooling, so maybe the vanilla flavor will kick up a notch after setting for a bit. So I don’t know if maybe any of these could possibly be the reason it tastes less like the frapp and more like reg coffee with milk and sugar. I also used “imitation vanilla flavor” because I didn’t have vanilla extract. I also tried it after adding the 1 tsp of vanilla, but added another 1/2 tsp because I couldn’t taste the vanilla at all. I used the Starbucks French roast instead of Italian roast, because they didn’t have the Italian at Walmart. Because it tastes like a regular cup of coffee with milk and sugar in it, as opposed to the Frappuccino, like I couldn’t taste the vanilla flavor at all. But I made a batch and I think I did something wrong. Okay so I think initially I posted my comment in the wrong section- sorry lol I’m new to this.
